From food to film, the West Hollywood Book Fair showcased a diverse literary scene Sunday at West Hollywood Park.
The author lineup included T. C. Boyle, an award-winning novelist and short story writer, producer /director William Friedkin (The Exorcist), actress Debbie Reynolds (Singin’ in the Rain), producer Lynda Obst (Sleepless in Seattle), novelist Marisa Silver (Mary Coin), TV host and food blogger Claire Thomas and Dead Kennedys drummer D. H. Peligro.

I read. In that respect Laura Bush and I have a lot in common. And I use the library and I buy books (usually used) and I look forward to Book Fairs. I have attended every WeHo BF since they started and this year was such a sad let down. Lovely weather, bigger park and fewer booths. My usual “fair time” is about 3/4 hours. Yesterday I was in and out in 45 minutes. Perhaps it can be attributed to the larger area of the park – but I am not so sure. I was disappointed and very sad. Hopefully… Read more »
