With the 25th anniversary of his White Party only six weeks away, LA event promoter Jeffrey Sanker was recognized this week with his own star on the Palm Springs Walk of Stars.
Walk of Star honorees “must have, by their presence in this area, contributed to the charm, worldwide prominence and name recognition of Palm Springs,” according to the Stars association.
Sanker, who lives in Los Angeles, has done that with his White Party, which has grown from a small gather of him and his friends to an annual weekend event that attracts 30,000 gay men. It is thought to be the largest circuit party in the world. This year it occurs April 25-28 and will feature Carmen Electra, who will be crowned “Queen of the White Party.”
