RadPad Releases a Really ‘Rad’ New Video Promoting Its Apartment App

RadPad’s new promotional video is, uh, rad. It’s a hilarious critique of the cumbersome process of finding an apartment to rent in Los Angeles and, of course, a promotion for RadPad, the mobile app that West Hollywood’s Jonathan Eppers with partners Tyler Galpin and Tim Watson launched in January 2013 to make that process easier.

RadPadRadPad now has 60,000 users in the greater Los Angeles area and others across the country. Apartment hunters in Los Angeles have largely been left to Craigslist or Westside Rentals, which charges apartment hunters a fee of $60 and whose website doesn’t make it easy to target a particular area. By contrast, RadPad is free, and it offers up available apartments within a close range of where the app user is sitting with multiple photos of each one.

The video features Bret Green as “Brad” aka “Masta B-Rad” as the lead character along with Erin Willet (“The Voice”), Krystle Cruz (“The Next”), Shayla Chiaverini (“Vegas’ Dancing Queen”) and recording artist Jae Ochoa Martinez with Broadway’s Jeffrey Landman and Kenny Morse, Kevin Myers (“The Newest Pledge”) and India Irving.

It was choreographed by Kyle Hill (“Wicked,” “So You Think You Can Dance”), directed by Maranatha Hay and produced by Matt Turk and Travis Graham. The music and rap lyrics are by Justin Jones and Nanea Miyata of “Let’s Be Friends.”
