BTW, these costumes are pretty spectacular. It’s hard to even imagine the time, effort & expense that went into these. Not to mention the creative minds. Truly admirable

Concerning the Jesus freaks. They attacked men, women, the parents and grandparents of those who were attempting to have a good time. But the most outrageous comments were made by one them who threatened; “some of you are going to end up in the hospital and maybe dead if we get a hold of you.” That was a Terrorist Threat and when I pointed it out to a deputy he agreed and stated they had heard it also and it was noted for their report. These “protesters” should not be given any kind of publicity, especially publishing pictures of them & their vulgar hate signs. Event participants should not stop & engage them. This is what they want & plays right into their hopes & plans. I don’t think their presence can legitimately be called “freedom of speech”. They are a public nuisance, disturbers of the peace & really offensive by the things they are saying. They can be heard even over & above the music & other loud noises from the event. Thank you for the reasonable estimate of people attending, not the absurd and physically impossible (either in terms of room for people or their cars or the available transportation to bring them to WeHo) estimates often heard of hundreds of thousands.
