Homeless Man Stabbed Monday Morning Near La Cienega and Romaine

A homeless man was stabbed Monday morning near the corner of La Cienega Boulevard and Romaine Street just a few dozen feet south of the West Hollywood border.

The watch commander at the Los Angeles Police Department Wilshire Division headquarters confirmed the stabbing occurred at 7:52 a.m. The man’s injuries were not life threatening, but he was taken to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center for treatment.

The watch commander said the homeless man declined to offer any details about the incident other than to say the person who stabbed him was an African-American male.

A resident posting on NextDoor.com reported the man who was stabbed had been “camped out on the sidewalk at Romaine and La Cienega for several weeks.”

We are already fed up with the homeless problem that have ruined the city of west hollywood and los angeles. Sadly, we need to elect common sense minded politicians to clean up our cities and stop the criminals from running our city.

As long as there is homeless individuals on West Hollywood (or adjacent) streets, this kind of incident will continue to happen.

I predict city residents will get fed up with the homeless problem and demand these people be removed from their streets by any means necessary.

Sorry to hear that a man was stabbed so close to home. I avoid walking by this intersection due to the condition of the homeless camped there.
