Bob Hertzberg is the better choice to make a difference on the Board of Supervisors

Who is best for West Hollywood? What is best for Los Angeles County?

Lindsey Horvath is looking to take what she learned in West Hollywood to the County level, and Bob Hertzberg is looking to take what he learned as a CEO and State Senate Majority leader to change Los Angeles County.

Lindsey won her first seat on the West Hollywood City Council in 2015. Barely two years into her second term she announced a run for County Supervisor.

We have to ask ourselves what policies has Lindsey initiated in West Hollywood that worked and deserve to be rolled out Countywide. On Public Safety, her policy was to cut the sheriff deputies when crime was at an all-time high. On affordability of housing, West Hollywood has the second-highest rents in the County. Homelessness has skyrocketed but Horvath takes credit for getting 80% of the homeless off the streets, an outright lie. She voted to increase the sales tax in West Hollywood to the highest % in the County.

Lindsey put her self-interests ahead of what is best for West Hollywood when she voted against West Hollywood’s seat on the Southern California Organization of Governments. Lindsey voted for the Mayor of Culver City over the Mayor of West Hollywood. Then he gave her his endorsement for her Supervisor campaign.

Lindsey turned City Hall into a long-running episode of ‘Mean Girls.’

Commission posts and awards and waivers for use of city space go to their friends. If you are not in ‘the clique’ you are boxed out. Lindsey doesn’t offer much difference from our current Supervisor Sheila Kuehl, who is currently under investigation for corruption. \

Bob Hertzberg lived in West Hollywood and met his wife on the corner of Kings Road and Santa Monica Blvd. His experience as a CEO, and Senate Majority Leader might actually bring a new perspective to Los Angeles County.

Bob received the “World Bank Award for Lighting Africa,” and the UK-based Guardian Magazine named him one of the “50 People Who Could Save the Planet”, among many other recognitions for championing clean energy throughout the world.

Bob is working on water solutions, housing solutions, homeless solutions with plans and reach to bring those ideas to Los Angeles County.

Bob, whose son Daniel is gay, has a deep understanding of LGBTQ issues, and received a 100% rating from Equality California, as well as the Planned Parenthood Affiliates of California.

Bob authored the Women’s Contraceptive Equity Act, which required health care service plans to cover contraception.

Bob Hertzberg is a salt-of-the-earth type of guy. We need somebody who wants to do the work and not somebody who is going to be wondering where their next political opportunity will come from. Bob understands our regional needs and how it fits into the state and federal framework.

We need somebody like Bob who wants to challenge the status quo. Bob has the endorsement of Mayor Lauren Meister and the WEHO PAC. He also has mine, he answers his text messages in seconds and our concerns will have an ally in the County Supervisor seat with Bob Hertzberg

Lindsey is as bad as the one she hates…Trump & she is a version of him! She says “We need to not use Sheriffs for services or issues that are not Sheriff & Police issues” yet she has asked for special favors from Detectives who later quit to get out of the publicity! She has covered up her pushing her private life friendships into city board and public office or other boards by her backing them after their off time fun boating at the lake or Oscar Parties with Erickson or Din Din and Spa day with Noemi or travel… Read more »

Lauren Meister just got re-elected so let’s hope you’re wrong about Horvath, Weho, and L.A. County too.

I voted for Hertzberg, he has Gov. Newsom’s endorsement and that’s good enough for me

I have concerns about all the corporate money he has taken in and his seemingly reversal of voting against environmental protections we need.

Aren’t we all just a little bit sick of Lindsey Horvath? West Hollywood has always been a stepping stone for her.

Can’t wait for Horvath to be soundly defeated in her own backyard. Hopefully it will sink in that public servants are not supposed to be in it for self promotion, but for what the public wants and what’s in their best interest.

I will not be voting for Lindsey Horvath. She is an opportunist only out for herself.

Bob Hertzberg has my vote. He offers the rare opportunity to vote for the best candidate and cleanse our city of some much spoiled trash.
