Bombo has blasted off.
The new restaurant on the second of E.P. & L.P. serves coastal Mexican cuisine created by chef Samantha Quintero.
Bombo is a project of the Botanical Hospitality Group, co-owned by Grant Smillie and David Combes, who previously launched the pop-up called Las Palmas on the rooftop of E.P. & L.P.
The restaurant’s name, Bombo, is derived from a type of drum and fits with the musical theme of E.P. & L.P.
The drink menu features agave-based cocktails, and dessert options include flan de romero and churros. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.
Bombo is located at 603 La Cienega Boulevard in West Hollywood. Hours this month are 6 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Sunday. It will open seven days a week starting in May.
