TikTok star @twaydabae is opening a popup restaurant in West Hollywood this summer.
Twaydabae, also known as Tue Nguyen, is setting up shop in the space formerly occupied by Petite Taqueria inside 755 La Cienega Blvd., according to What Now Los Angeles. She has already held several successful popups in the location.
Đi Đi, or “let’s go” in Vietnamese, is Nguyen’s love letter to her home country’s cuisine and atmosphere. The h.wood Group will operate the restaurant and handle cocktails.
Vietnamese food is a great idea.
