NEW RESTAURANTS: Potato Chips Deli

The blighted northwest corner of Santa Monica Boulevard and Fairfax in West Hollywood might soon start to sizzle again.

Potato Chips and Deli, a sandwich chain with locations in Westfield Mall, Little Toyko and Long Beach, is moving in to the rotunda-capped corner spot formerly occupied by Subway.

The sub shop serves sandwiches like the Italian ($13.50), featuring sopresata, capicola, finocchiona, mortadella, provolone, iceberg, red onion, tomato, pickle, hots, olive oil and red wine vinegar, and the Impossible Meatball ($18.50).

“We believe that every sandwich bite should be an explosion of juicy flavors, complemented by the perfect crispy texture of the bread without taking away from the ingredients,” the restaurant says on its website. They also take pride in their drip-free sauces.

The neighborhood certainly loves a good Italian sub.

Ggiata, next to Irv’s Burgers on Laurel, has become one of WeHo’s most popular new diners since it opened last year.

Sandwiches should be 55.50 with a drink and french fries or coleslaw not $18!!!
Also all the drinks at the bar should only be 350 to 5 dollars each in Palm Springs I Bailey’s and vodka is only $3.50 and $2.50 at happy hour so if they can make money selling drinks at those prices soak in these West Hollywood bars we need to do a boycott or is it in or something something..Maybe even picketing

High turnover in a small space with a great profit margin.

Remarkable! Another new business in spite of the sky-high minimum wage in WeHo and the fact that it’s destroying our economy.

You said it: another new business. Obviously business owners are willing to pay it, so why are you so damn grouchy about workers getting a fair wage?

Actually the location is at the old Subway just north of the closed Starbucks.
Let’s hope this place will un-jinx that mall.
