Michael Ankerich discusses and signs his biography “Mae Murray” at Book Soup, 8818 Sunset Blvd. and Holloway. Ankerich details the life of silent film era actress Mae Murray, popularly known as “the girl with the bee-stung lips.” Murray quickly became a star in Hollywood with her classic beauty and charismatic presence but just as quickly lost the spotlight with the introduction of talkies. The book features exclusive interviews with Murray’s only son and her close friend actor George Hamilton. The event is free and open to the public.
